Selecting the right viewpoints

During initial analysis and testing, Millerhare works with the architects, planning and townscape consultants to agree a broad set of viewpoints that reflect the project’s response to its site and the broader context. These will include views from important locations required by planning policy and more specific views that address local contextual issues or important design features of the image. These views are visited and recorded for subsequent survey and final photography should they be selected for use as accurate views. Interim reports of this work are prepared for discussion with the local planning authority as part of the scoping process. These reports evolve into a formal definition of the views that are to be developed and submitted as part of a planning submission.
